Scholarships

The Falcon Club provides two annual scholarships:

1. The Skip Kinnier Scholarship (Sponsored by The Falcon Club and Shawn Mooney)
   

   Awarded to any senior male athlete or team manager from the twelve area high schools we currently recognize:

   • Albemarle High School
   • Charlottesville High School
   • St. Anne's Belfield
   • Western Albemarle High School
   • Monticello High School
   • William Monroe High School
   • Covenant
   • Louisa County High School
   • Fluvanna County High School
   • Orange County High School
   • Fork Union Military Academy
   • Blue Ridge School

   The scholarship is based on:

   • Need
   • Personal Recommendations
   • Academics
   • Athletic Development
   • Community and/or extracurricular activities

   To apply for the Skip Kinnier Scholarship, visit our forms page or click here. The application needs to be completed in its entirety and received by the club no later than May 15^th of each year.

2. The Hugh Bingler Scholarship
   

   To be eligible for this scholarship one must be nominated by the school's baseball coach using the following criteria:

   • Demonstrate Good Citizenship
   • Community Involvement
   • Be an outstanding baseball player
